The herring roe oil in the product has DHA bound to phospholipids, which provides better bioavailability with faster absorption and no unpleasant fishy regurgitation*.
Omega-3 has several important functions in the body, especially during fetal development. Therefore, Norwegian health authorities recommend that pregnant and breastfeeding women almost double their intake of omega-3 during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
DHA contributes to normal brain and eye development in the fetus
DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that is especially important from the fetal stage until the child is 2 years old. At that time, the child's body undergoes remarkable development.
DHA is essential for growing babies and contributes to the development of the fetus's brain and vision.
The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
Choline – an essential nutrient important for all cells in the body** *
Choline is important for all cells in the body and for fat and cholesterol metabolism. It also plays a crucial role in brain cells in the formation of the brain's neurotransmitter, acetylcholine.
To ensure adequate choline intake, it is recommended that pregnant women consume 480 mg of choline and breastfeeding women 520 mg of choline per day.
Make sure to get a regular supply of these important nutrients throughout your pregnancy and breastfeeding period.

The omega-3 fatty acid DHA is an important building block of the brain and eye. An adequate intake of DHA is therefore necessary for the baby's development, and is often referred to as a superfood for babies.
Breastfeeding mothers are the baby's best source of DHA, so it is important to increase intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As a mother, you are the best insurance for your child's DHA intake, and your baby will thank you. Herring roe also contains choline, an important nutrient for cell membrane building in mother and child.
Norwegian health authorities recommend increased omega-3 intake throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. A daily intake of at least 200 mg of the omega-3 fatty acid DHA, in addition to the mother's recommended intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA, contributes to normal brain and eye development in fetuses and nursing infants.
Just 2 capsules of Romega GRAVID cover both your and your child's needs.
